The FAA has designated CDP as a Designee Managed Organization (DMO).

As the successor organization to the FAA’s highly successful DMO prototype, CDP has special approval authorities for Part 23 airplanes that permit shortened and highly predictable avionics STC project cycles. The CDP team completed 18 STC projects as Managers and DERs for the DMO prototype and we now bring that experience and those authorities to assist you with your project. Recently, CDP, functioning as a DMO, completed an STC project in 5 weeks from application to certificate.

On Part 25 aircraft we apply the same skills and knowledge of the STC process, but with the FAA having more direct control of the approvals. In either case, using CDP for your STC project brings the close teamwork and disciplined scheduling necessary to complete your project on time and on budget.
